Carbon Steel Razor Basic Honing Service

This service is for carbon-steel razors: the majority of straight razors fall into this category - if your razor has INOX, SS, Stainless, No-Stain then it is made of stainless steel and will not come into this category - please go to the Stainless Steel Basic Honing Service.

This service includes:

• resetting bevel on low-grit honing stone/s
• refining bevel through a progression of finer hones, finishing on a 16,000 grit stone
• stropping on one of my hand-made canvas and latigo hanging strops to shave-ready condition
• return postage

There are two options available, depending on the value of your razor.  The first option is for razors costing up to £46, the second option is for razors costing over £46.  Please be aware that if you choose the lower-value option and your razor is lost or damaged in the post, then I can only be liable for the first £46 of the claim!
