25ml of 0.25 micron Diamond Spray in Pump Spray Bottle

This spray is made from a dense slurry of fine monocrystalline diamonds in a water-based carrier.  Although it can be applied to leather, fabric and balsa wood, perhaps the best surface for it to be used on is hard wool felt, as the particles embed themselves into the felt and become slightly less aggressive in action.  If applying to hard wool felt be careful not to saturate the felt, as bumps and ridges may occur (they can be removed by steam-ironing and pressing).  The best way to apply the spray is lightly - not much more than a fine mist is necessary.  Sweep the strop with one spray of the bottle, like using aerosol spray paint.  If any spatter occurs, work it in evenly with the tips of the fingers before it can cause a localised, saturated spot.  Let dry, test, and repeat if necessary.  If any clear or lighter coloured fluid is visible in the bottle, shake it before using.  There is enough in the botle for many applications.

The cutting action of the diamonds is quite rapid and care should be taken not to overstrop the razor.  Some people find the edge to be very keen - if it is too keen it can then be smoothed by stropping the razor on a chrome-oxide pasted strop.
