Valet Autostrop Hand Made Replacement Strop

This is a brand new, hand-made replacement strop for the Valet Autostrop system.  It has been made to fit the autostrop razors and is of a similar size to the original, being about 40mm wide.  The overall length including the hardware is about 390mm and the available stropping area excluding hardware, hardware flap and thumb-panel is about 225mm.  The thickness is about 1.3mm - 1.4mm, but this varies slightly from strop to strop. 

The strop is made with natural tanned kangaroo leather - a leather famed for its toughness and resilience even though it is thin.  Each hand-made strop has been passed through a Valet razor to ensure it fits - the initial fit is snug but becomes easier as it is used.  There is a chrome metal d-ring at the end, to which a chrome swivelling snap-hook is attached.  The d-ring is secured with two small fixed rivets.

I have sold a number of these little strops, and delighted customers have told me that they perform even better than the original Valet strop!

Please note that the leather used is a natural product and as such it will be found to have small marks, lines and uneven patches of colour - none of these will affect its performance in any way!  Also, being a hand-made product no two strops are identical and each strop will have small signs that indicate its hand-crafted nature, including small deviations in size.
