Vintage Boxed Tube of Valet Autostrop Paste / Strop Dressing


This is an original tube of Valet Strop Dressing, intended for use with the Valet Autostrop (see the Strop section for replacement strops for the Valet system).  The box is a bit tatty with some of the flaps missing, but the tube of paste itself is in very good condition.  It looks to have been used only once - if at all - and from the small bead of paste I pressed out of it I can see that it is still a paste, slightly greasy with a very funky smell!


The Valet razors are collectors items in their own rights, but how often do you see the strop dressing - very rare indeed!


Packaged weight will be around 150 gms.
